Voting Sites
I will work hard to ensure all Stark County residents have access and the ability to cast their November ballot in person. I strongly support open polling sites in each of our communities.
Stark County Commission Meetings
I support making the commission meetings more accessible and being recorded for viewing after each meeting. At minimum, we should replicate the City of Dickinson’s actions on video public access.

Economy
Extensive background and experience in business. I own and operate a real estate firm and construction company. I know what it takes to create economic activity. I strongly support creating an environment that thrives through the implementation of favorable economic and taxation policies and regulations. I will work hard to ensure a high-quality workforce that has access to great living, education, and careers. I know the difference between good public policy and government overreach.
Agriculture
I am a lifelong resident of Stark County. I was born and raised on a farm south of Richardton, and am still actively engaged in my farming operation. I know first-hand the issues facing our farms and ranches. If elected, I would be the only active ag voice on the Stark County Commission. That my friends, is a big deal!
Property Taxes
I have heard you loud and clear of your demand to not raise property taxes. I will work hard to keep your property taxes as low as possible. An expanding and growing economy is a great way to keep property taxes down. My experience in growing businesses and creating job opportunities will help us achieve this goal!

Stark County Budget
I am a proven fiscally responsible individual. In a state where one out of every two tax dollars are generated from the energy sector, local and county governments need to implement budgets based on needs, not wants. Recent years have proven the energy economy is anything but predictable, so prudent planning and budgeting is key to maintaining a high level of services at a reasonable cost to our residents.
Law Enforcement
The citizens of Stark County support law enforcement. Stark County residents expect to live their lives knowing their families and property are protected. I strongly support our law enforcement. The national efforts to "defund the police" are ridiculous.

Infrastructure
Infrastructure is the lifeline to a healthy and growing economy. The Stark County Commission needs to lead the effort to ensure roads, bridges, etc. are capable of allowing both ag and energy commodities to travel to market in a safe and efficient manner.
DAPL
I strongly disagree with any judicial activism to shut down or limit the Dakota Access Pipeline. DAPL acquired all necessary permits and approvals prior to construction. I would lead the effort to have Stark County join any and all legal efforts to allow the pipeline to continue operating.

Private Property Rights
Having 40 years of experience in the real estate business, I fully understand the challenges facing private property owners. I have spent my entire career advocating for the private property rights.

ND Heritage of Hunting and Fishing
Hunting and fishing is a tradition like no other in our area. I firmly support our 2nd Amendment Right to Bear Arms and will fight any efforts to limit or control hunting and fishing opportunities.
